Its thin blade cuts right through thick foliage with minimal resistance, and the hooked blade slides smoothly down tree trunks to remove branches fast.
The blade is made of super-strong alloy steel that has been plated to prevent corrosion, and it features Silky’s own “Genki Grip” which reduces the impact on your hands by 60%, and makes it easy to replace the blade.
The blade can be replaced or sharpened. Silky recommends initially sharpening with a 1000 grit whetstone before finishing with a 3000 grit stone.
