Great for splitting all types of firewood, this large splitting axe is one effective log splitter. With its thin bit and concave shaped body, this axe quickly spits even the hardest woods.

(Splitting Axes should not be used for striking a wedge or as a wedge. Only the Splitting Maul is designed for this.)

Hand-forged of high carbon Swedish steel and fitted with an American Hickory handle with protective steel collar. Vegetable-tanned leather sheath included.
