Elevated Toilet Seat for Hip Replacement Patients

The Total Hip Replacement Tall-Ette Raised Toilet Seat is specially designed to meet the needs of people who have undergone unilateral or bilateral total hip replacement. With a “saddle” type seat, the raised toilet seat keep the user’s legs at the proper position. The seat prevents internal rotation as well as abduction at the hip, helping to reduce the effects of spasticity occurring in people with cerebral palsy or other muscle tone affecting conditions. The unique bilateral contoured shape allows the user to easily get up from a toilet seat. Available for Standard and Elongated toilets, this elevated toilet seat adds 4″ in height to the existing toilet.
